Jenny 진희 Lee is an award-nominated Korean Canadian TV writer and filmmaker based in Toronto.

She likes to craft character-driven stories that examine family, society, and the complexities of mental well-being, all from a perspective grounded in the experiences of women.

Jenny was most recently co-producer and writer on MURDOCH MYSTERIES (CBC), the longest-running drama TV series in Canada. Her credits also include the Daytime Emmy-winning XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM (PBS) and Canadian Screen Award-nominated RUBY AND THE WELL (byuTV).

Jenny is a Nominee of a WGC Screenwriting Award, a Finalist of the Sundance Collab Cultural Impact Residency, a Finalist of the Reel Asian International Film Festival Pitch Competition, a Receipient of a Media Arts production grant from Canada Council of the Arts, and a Delegate to various film festivals from Disability Screen Office and Asian Canadian Film Alliance.

Jenny consults on projects that handle Korean cultural nuance; such as GANGNAM PROJECT (CBBC/CBC Kids), TOPLINE (CBC Gem), and THE RYAN SHOW (9 Story). She is fluent in written and spoken Korean.

She holds former experience in film festival programming and received her B.A. in Cinema Studies from University of Toronto. She is represented by Ilana Miller and Samantha Driscoll-Way at Jennifer Hollyer Agency.
